Beginners guide to solve a 3x3 Rubik´s Cube
Creating a step-by-step guide on how to solve a 3x3 Rubik´s Cube is easier said than done. After giving it a go, I rather quickly realised that it would take way too much time to create a decent guide from scratch. Since there already exist excellent guides online, I have just decided to refer to a great beginners guide, and only write the algorithms for the last steps on this page.
The last steps of the guide by RUWIX.com are shown below. Remember to hold the cube so yellow is the UP face.

Yellow cross

At this point, you can have 3 patterns on the UP face of your cube: dot, L-shape or line. Repeat the algorithm below until the yellow cross is completed.

Yellow edges

The algorithm swaps Front-Up and Left-Up. Again, it might be the case that you have to apply the algorithm more than one time.

Position yellow corners

If one corner is placed correctly already, place it Front-Right-Up. The algorithm turns the other corners counterclockwise.

Orient yellow corners

Repeat the algorithm until the piece comes to the correct position with the yellow sticker upwards. Turning only the Up face, and move other misaligned yellow corners to the marked spot one by one and do the formula until all corners are solved.
