Drone Laws
For many years, The Danish Civil Aviation and Railway Authority (Trafikstyrelsen) was in charge of drone regulations in Denmark. Since 2021, the EU has designed a common set of rules of which each member state supplements with its own national rules.

Some of the elementary rules include:

  • Always have your drone in sight
  • Maximal height is 120 m
  • Minimum age is 15 years
  • Requirements to registrer as an EU drone pilot
  • Keep a safe distance to airports and infrastructure
  • Do not disturb other´s privacy
  • Insurance is not required
